But... do you also have barriers that are stopping you from achieving what you want? Barriers like your bad experiences and memories of past failures that are still haunting you... Or the fear that keep you wondering if you will ever succeed...
Guess what? You are definitely not alone on this and there are some simple tips that may help you overcome all these!

Five simple tips on how to overcome barriers to improving yourself for the better:
1. Assess your own strengths, weaknesses and achievements
If your past failures are one of the barriers that is stopping you from becoming better, take the chance to assess yourself today. To do so, you can create two different lists - one which has all your strengths, talents and achievements and the other one which has all your weaknesses, failures and your bad experiences.
Ask your family and friends to help you.
Once you have the two lists done, set plans on how to improve on your negative aspects as well as how to improve your positive aspects.
2. Look back and think what you could have done better
If anxiety and fear are barriers that are stopping you because of your past experiences... take time and think back... think of the things that went wrong and the things that you could have done better... next make the promise to yourself that you will pay attention to these things and make the situation better in the future.
3. Practice, practice, practice
Practice makes perfect and practice will help you to overcome your weak points as well as provide you with the assurance that you will succeed in becoming better. Take efforts to note what are the factors that cause your problems and come out with a plan to face each of these factors.
4. Focus less on others' opinions of you
Other people's opinions of you should never be a barrier to you becoming a better person. Set your own beliefs, your own set of values and how you want to become a better person in the future. Focusing on others' opinion will only create unnecessary worries.
5. Follow a positive role model
If there is somebody that in your life that have found success in overcoming their barriers and achieving what they like in life... make this person your personal role model today and try to follow what they do. This can definitely help you!
